Bahati Member of Parliament Kimani Ngunjiri was on Friday allowed to leave the courtroom after falling ill.
Ngunjiri was led out to get fresh air after a lawyer told the court that the lawmaker was unwell owing to the chilling floor at the cells.
The court proceedings were temporarily halted as Kakamega Senator Bonny Khalwale moved to help the Jubilee MP remove his coat.
Ngunjiri, who allegedly called for the eviction of Luo community members from Nakuru, is set to be charged alongside seven other legislators over hateful remarks. read more on page 2
